About Us
Palm Beach Currumbin Australian Football Club was established in 1961 following the development of Salk Oval at Palm Beach — a purpose-built venue created through the efforts of the P.B.C Lions Club and local volunteers.
Originally formed as “Centrals Australian Football Club”, the club later became Palm Beach Currumbin Football Club and today proudly continues as PBC Australian Football Club.
The club adopted the Lion symbol and the royal colours of purple and gold in recognition of the support and hard work of the P.B.C Lions Club during the club’s foundation years.
From humble beginnings at Salk Oval, PBC has grown into a proud community club focused on developing players, building strong friendships and creating a positive environment for families and young footballers on the southern Gold Coast.
